Sea moss can be added to almost any food or drink, but one of the most common and delicious ways to have sea moss is in smoothies. Sea moss is rich in vitamins and minerals, and the gel gives your smoothies an even smoother texture.

Sea Moss Energy Balls:

Ingredients:
1 cup sea moss gel
1/2 cup almond butter or nut butter of choice
1 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
A pinch of sea salt
Optional add-ins: chopped nuts, dried fruits, chia seeds, cocoa powder, shredded coconut, etc.
Instructions:
Prepare the Sea Moss Gel: Start by preparing the sea moss gel. Soak dried sea moss in water until it softens, then blend it with water to create a smooth gel-like consistency. Strain any excess water before using the gel.
Mix the Wet Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the sea moss gel, almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Blend them until the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Add the Dry Ingredients: Introduce the rolled oats, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt to the wet mixture. Stir until all the ingredients meld together. This is your canvas for creativity – you can also toss in chopped nuts, dried fruits, or chia seeds.

Shape the Balls: With a tablespoon of the mixture, roll it between your palms to create compact balls. If the mixture is sticky, dampen your hands slightly for easier handling. Place the energy balls on a parchment paper-lined tray.
Chill and Set: Refrigerate the energy balls for about 30 minutes. This step helps them firm up and retain their shape.
Savour the Goodness: Once your energy balls are set, transfer them to an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator. Enjoy these nutrient-dense snacks whenever you need a quick boost of energy or a satisfying treat.

HOW TO MAKE SEA MOSS DRINK

My way of making Irish sea moss drink is different from the traditional method.  With that being said, I felt it was appropriate to share the true Jamaican way of making Irish moss because whenever I modify a recipe from my heritage I ALWAYS acknowledge it's origins and reasons for any changes.
Don't boil Irish moss - As Irish moss is packed with so much nutritional value, one of the main recipe modifications is to NOT boil the moss but rather let the moss soak overnight along with the linseed.
Although you won't get that extra thick gelatin, you will preserve most if the nutritional value which is a lot more healthier.
Isinglass and arabic gum is optional - As this is a vegan recipe Isinglass is forbidden. Gum arabic is merely a thickener and because we are using the entire sea moss there really is no need to add any additives.
Drain off the water from the moss - which brings me to my other point in respect to creating a thick substance without boiling out the nutritional value.
Puree the entire moss - The whole sea moss will be used, nothing is to be wasted. Add the moss/flax water to a high speed blender and puree into a gel consistency.
Sweetener - I like to use a low GI index sweetener to keep within the realm of good health. Agave nectar, coconut nectar or maple syrup are good vegan alternative to honey. You can also use my condensed coconut milk for additional sweetness.
Plant based milk - Coconut milk or almond milk work really well. After making this recipe many times I would highly recommend using almond milk as it really compliments the taste abit better.
Store any leftover sea moss gel - Some people suggest storing it in the refrigerator for up to a month. I personally disagree and suggest using the blended sea moss gel within 3-4 days maximum . Alternatively, you can freeze in small portions, ready to use.
Spices - Don't forget to add your spices - cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla
Did you know that the food industry has been using sea moss to make ice creams for decades? More precisely, the carrageenan contained in high amounts in sea moss is widely used as a food thickener and stabilizer in industrial ice creams, soups, etc.
Of course, homemade sea moss ice creams are an even tastier and healthier alternative, as you can control the ingredients yourself. Besides, you can get super creative and imagine any Flavors of your choice.
Here’s one of our favorites, the strawberry and banana sea moss ice cream:

Ingredients (4 small-size servings):
3 frozen bananas
10 big frozen strawberries
6 tablespoons sea moss gel
1 teaspoon sugar-free vanilla flavour
½ can of cream
½ can condensed milk

Instructions:
Take the frozen bananas and strawberries out of the freezer 10 minutes before starting, so they thaw a little bit.
Then, add all the ingredients into a high-powered blender and blend until smooth.
We suggest freezing your sea moss ice cream until it is solid for about 2-4 hours before consuming it.
You can substitute the bananas and strawberries with any of your preferred fruits too!

If you’re consuming sea moss, you’re probably into healthy food and lifestyle. Then, I guess you've already heard of acai bowls; if not, it's about time you do!
Acai bowls are one of the healthiest and most nutritious breakfast choices. They're made of pureed acai palm fruit served in a bowl and topped with various fruits, cereals, granola, seed, nuts, etc. Acai fruit originally comes from Brazil and is packed with antioxidants.
Combining acai and sea moss makes this sea moss and acai bowl one of the healthiest, most nutrient-rich, and energy-boosting breakfast recipes you can imagine. Try it for yourself!

Ingredients (one bowl):
1 frozen banana
2 cups frozen berries
¼ cup ice
3 oz frozen acai packet
1 plain yogurt
2 tablespoons sea moss gel
Optional toppings: fresh fruits, granola, honey, nuts, chia seeds, flax seeds, coconut chips, etc.

Instructions:
Break up the frozen acai packet into chunks and put it in a blender along with all the other ingredients.
Blend until smooth. You may add liquid to reach the desired consistency (yogurt, milk, juice, or water).
Pour your sea moss and acai smoothie blend into a bowl. Top with your preferred toppings.
Serve and enjoy immediately!

Fruit Jam 5-ingredients, 20-minute blueberry sea moss jam recipe:

Ingredients:
3 cups blueberries (or use other fruit)
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 lemon (juiced)
¼ cup Organics Nature’s sea moss gel

Instructions:
Add the lemon juice, blueberries, and maple syrup into a saucepan over low heat. Bring to a low boil for about 5 minutes.
Mash the blueberries (or use other fruit) with a wooden spoon, so they release their juice.
Turn the heat to medium-high for about 10 minutes until the liquid is reduced by half. Stir well to make sure the jam does not stick to the saucepan.
Turn off the heat and add the sea moss gel. Stir until it's completely dissolved into the jam.
Once the jam has cooled, pour it into an airtight food container. There are no preservatives here, so keep your sea moss jam refrigerated and use it within one week or freeze it.
